Materia PhD Prize 2025 awarded to Dr Raj Kapoor

Dr Raj Kapoor (formerly University of Manchester, now ETH Zürich) has been awarded the Materia PhD Prize for his thesis on thermal transport in low-dimensional materials. The prize, now in its fourth year, recognises the best PhD thesis in the physical sciences or engineering submitted to any university worldwide. Dr Kapoor receives a £1,500 award and an invitation to submit a review article to Materia.
